What age is The Rookie Playbook for?
The recommended age is for 10 to 11 years old. Depending on your child’s reading and writing abilities they may need some guidance at the younger end of the scale. It The playbook introduces a weekly structure and emphasis on developing ppositive routines and healthy habits.
The playbook's journal pages have been designed to have little writing. We have left plenty of blank spaces for different handwriting styles, sketching, drawing or doodling. The paper quality can cope with a range of pens and pencils.
We would highly recommend that you help your child with the weekly topics as these set the 'big message' for the week ahead. We have designed the journals with a slightly more grown-up feel (without our 'kiddie' characters) becuase we want them to see this journal as part of their memory milestones of growing up and building the responsibility of having their own first phone.
Can I order in bulk for my school, organisation or group?

Do you ship outside of the UK?
Currently, we only ship within the UK. We're focused on providing the best experience for UK families, especially for those in our first customer group, or 'Rookie cohort,' as we call it. This cohort will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with our team on co-developing products and software, as well as owning shares in our company.
How much do you charge for postage and packaging?
Currently, we offer free postage and packaging, though this may change in the future depending on business needs. We aim to keep pricing straightforward and easy for parents.
The first orders for The Rookie Playbook will be dispatched starting the week of 18 November 2024. Once shipped, orders should arrive within 2-3 working days via a tracked service, so you can follow your package’s journey to your door.
What is Rookie's return and refund policy?
Returns and Refunds
If you're not completely satisfied, you can return your Rookie Playbook within 30 days, as long as it’s unused and in sellable condition. Please note, you will be responsible for the cost of return postage, and we recommend using a tracked service, as we can only process refunds after receiving and checking the item’s condition.
Important: Shipping Address
Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate when placing your order. We can't be responsible for delays or lost deliveries if the address provided is incorrect. If you're using payment platform where there is a "Default Address,' please double-check your address before ordering.
If your package is returned to us due to an incomplete or incorrect address, or if you missed collecting it from the post office or courier depot, we will only refund the cost of the product (excluding shipping costs).

If you are pre-ordering The Rookie Playbook will (for orders taken between 01 October 2024 and 18 November 2024), these will be dispatched starting the week of 18 November 2024.

What materials are used to make The Rookie Playbook?
At Rookie, we are dedicated to being as eco-friendly as possible. We prioritize using sustainable and recyclable materials in our products and work closely with our production partners to continuously improve.
The ink we use is eco-offset, free from hazardous substances, and our paper and card are Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified. Even the thread for binding is made from recycled water bottles. Our packaging is climate neutral, crafted from FSC-certified materials, and fully recyclable.
Our covers are vegan-friendly, made from recyclable polyurethane. We recycle all waste paper from production, and aim for land and sea transportation to minimize our carbon footprint.
We work with trusted production partners who regularly inspect suppliers, ensuring that all our operations comply with local laws and meet high environmental standards.
